The Consequences of Hitchhiking

Emma Ray sticks her thumb out on a hot stretch of road. Lora Cross slows down, offers her a lift, and warns that the stretch is crawling with trouble. Emma climbs in anyway. Lora snaps a pair of handcuffs around her wrists before the door even closes. Emma realizes too late she’s picked the wrong ride. They pull up to a house that looks abandoned. Behind it, the yard is open and bright. Two naked women kneel on the dirt while a blonde—Tatiana Steele—works a leather flogger across their backs. Emma’s cuffs click tighter when Tatiana walks over, studies her, and smiles. The twins move in unison now, one stripping Emma’s clothes, the other fixing a blindfold over her eyes. She hears the snap of rope, feels it cinch around her arms and chest. When the blindfold finally comes off, she sees two other dark-haired women already tied to posts, skin striped pink from the flogger. Lora and Tatiana exchange a glance, then turn back to their fresh catch. Emma’s heart pounds so hard she feels it between her legs. The heat of the sun presses on every inch of her bare skin while the rope holds her still and the sisters step closer.
