The Butterfly Effect

Charlotte and Elise meet. Elise wastes no time. She slides Charlotte into the butterfly straitjacket, arms locked tight across her chest. The leather hood follows, then the gas mask seals over it. Charlotte is boxed up and locked in. Elise connects the bubbler bottle to the intake and exhaust ports, every breath now pulled through water. Charlotte is sealed inside, helpless, and Elise watches her squirm with pure pleasure. Hours later, hunger wins. Elise leaves her there. "Wonderful to meet you," she says, and walks out the door.
