Two trainees stand ready for judgment. Months of strict training have honed their tolerance for pain, sharpened their ability to hold back release, and drilled protocol into muscle memory. Still, only one earns the collar tonight. The members watch in silence while the men display what they’ve learned—one bound tight, dark hair falling across his eyes; the other bent forward, muscles straining under restraints.
